Biggest challenge I’ve overcome and how I did it: Making the decision to resign from my corporate job and begin a new career as a massage therapist and salon owner is one of the many challenges I've had to overcome. I reached a point in my career when I knew I had to do something different. Although the realization was liberating, it was met with apprehension and uncertainty. I took the risk and stepped out on faith. God has a plan and a purpose for all of us and when we discover what they are God will give us his confirmation - peace.
One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have: travel to Europe.
If I could change one thing about myself it would be: stop procrastinating when I have unpleasant but necessary tasks.
The talent I would most like to have: I wish I could sing really well. If I could, I would sing duets with my husband.
The one thing I can’t live without: my faith.
The song that best describes my life: Donald Lawrence’s “The Best Is Yet To Come.” Hold on my sister just look up/There is a master plan in store for you if you just make it through…/ You ain’t seen nothin’, you ain’t seen nothin yet.
One of my favorite sayings is: What God has for me – is for me.
Actress I’d like to portray me in a movie about my life: Angela Bassett.
