Personal: 25; single
Occupation: Owner of Via Girasole, a Gourmet and Specialty Shop.
Community activities: Volunteer with retired citizens. Well, I don’t really volunteer with them, I just deliver their wine… they do love me.
My favorite thing to do in Rochester: ): I love to take my dog on hikes or walks through Mendon Ponds or Powder Mills Park. The trees bring me calmness and comfort me.
Biggest challenge I’ve overcome and how I did it: : In high school I was diagnosed with ADD. Through determination and ridiculous amounts of regimented studying, I learned to work with my ADD and not against it. I couldn’t have accomplished anything without the support of my family and my teachers.
One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have: I would have put “own my own business” here, but that just happened, so now I have reassess my dreams and my goals. Check back with me next year.
If I could change one thing about myself it would be: How spastic I am. Anyone who knows me may think it is quite comical, but I am such a klutz and I freak out easily over everything. Maybe my ADD is creeping up on me again!
The talent I would most like to have: Dance. I love music but have inherited my father’s two left feet and his innate ability to make up his own dance moves.
The one thing I can’t live without: My camera. I should say my family, but really, my camera.
The song that best describes my life: “Not a Pretty Girl” – Ani DiFranco
One of my favorite sayings is: “Now we sit and wonder about the future, but I’m thinking today sounds good to me."
Actress I’d like to portray me in a movie about my life: Jamie- Lynn Sigler (the actress from The Sopranos). I cannot begin to tell anyone how many times people stop me for my autograph. Most of the time I just sign my name and proceed to walk away laughing.
