Occupation: Founder and Director of Successful Pathways of YFC, a program for teen parents and youth at risk for early parenting.

My favorite thing to do in Rochester: My favorite thing to do is entertain. My husband and I love to have people over for bonfires, barbeques and outdoor movies.

Biggest challenge I’ve overcome and how I did it: I had my first child at the age of 14. Needless to say, that was a challenge that I had to overcome. In spite of that, I graduated from high school, obtained my B.A. from St. John Fisher College, got a masters degree in Social Work from the GRC-MSW Program of Brockport and Nazareth College, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work.

One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have: I would love to publish a book on my life story.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be: Being too outspoken at times.

The talent I would most like to have: I would like to be a linguist.

The one thing I can’t live without: My family and the love of Jesus Christ.
