Community activities: I feature Lollypop Farm pets on my blog for adoption.
My favorite thing to do in Rochester: One word: agritainment. I love the holidays and seasons in Rochester, and my favorite thing to do is participate in the agritainment for each season, whether it’s strawberry picking, grape festivals, apple picking, pumpkin carving or cutting down a Christmas tree.
Biggest challenge I’ve overcome and how I did it: When I became Kodak’s Chief Blogger there were many requests for me to speak at conferences about Kodak and social media. I didn’t do much public speaking prior to that, and I was being thrown into the thick of things. Also, women are in the minority when it comes to representation at tech conferences. Social media is a passion for me, and I have a lot of experience with it, so it turned out to be a natural fit for me to get up in front of hundreds of people and share our story, especially when I could relate it back to first hand experience. Now I look forward to stepping up to the microphone even if I have to bend it down to reach my five foot stature!
One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have: I would love to go for a hot air balloon ride! I bet I would get some amazing photographs from up there!
If I could change one thing about myself it would be: I wish I were a better morning person.
The talent I would most like to have: I wish I could sing. I have always been more visual than musical. A few years ago, I took matters into my own hands and started taking violin lessons.
The one thing I can’t live without: I don't do well without my cup of tea every morning.
The song that best describes my life: Monty Python's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life". Make the best out of what you have and always try to have a laugh.
