Occupation: Director of Human Resources for American Red Cross, Rochester Chapter.

My favorite thing to do in Rochester: My favorite thing to do is being around close family and friends, enjoying the summer days attending area events and festivals.

Biggest challenge I’ve overcome and how I did it: I would have to say my biggest challenge would be overcoming a divorce and becoming a single parent. During that time, I really had a chance to learn who I was and want I truly wanted out of life. More importantly, I’ve learned how to encourage myself and speak victory over my life. I have obtained my B.A. in Organizational Management, got a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership, and am currently working on my certification for Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have: I have always wanted to visit Paris.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be: Sometimes I am too outspoken.

The talent I would most like to have: I would love to be an actress/singer.

The one thing I can’t live without: I most definitely can’t live without the love of my family and the love of My Savior Jesus Christ.

My favorite movie: My favorite movie is “Love and Basketball”.

One of my favorite sayings is: “To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did”, and “The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you”.

The songs that best describes my life: It would have to be “Encourage Yourself” by Donald Lawrence, “Never Would Have Made It” by Marvin Sapp and “Imagine Me” by Kirk Franklin.
