Personal: 38, of Bristol; a daughter, 11, and a son, 9.

Occupation: Executive vice president and chief operating officer of Heritage Christian Services.

Community activities: School of the Holy Childhood, board member; Nazareth College School of Health and Human Services, advisory board member; Council of Reformed Charities, executive officer; Charles Finney School, chairman’s council member; Aids Community Health Center, programs and services board member; Nazareth College, adjunct professor; Church of the Transfiguration, children’s formation instructor.

My favorite thing to do in Rochester: Anything that involves the amazing arts and culture of this community. I love listening to the RPO, watching a play at Geva, catching a film at the Dryden Theater and visiting Strong National Museum of Play and the Rochester Museum and Science Center.

Biggest challenge I’ve overcome and how I did it: It’s really all about maintaining perspective because that’s what determines the size of the challenge. Regardless of how big the problem seems, you get your head off the pillow, put one foot in front of the other and DON’T FORGET TO BREATH!

One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have: Travel with the Heritage Christian international ministries team. Each year they go to Guatemala and help with a summer camp for young people with developmental disabilities.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be: I’d move slower and listen harder.

The talent I would most like to have: I would love to have a great singing voice. The trait I’d most like to have is patience!

The one thing I can’t live without: The one object is my GPS.

The song that best describes my life: Here I Am Lord!

One of my favorite sayings is: Live in the now.

Actress I’d like to portray me in a movie about my life: Sandra Bullock. She has always seemed so down-to-earth and willing to help. I remember reading that she made large donations to help people hurt by the September 11 terrorist attacks, the 2004 tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. I even heard that she visited the Austin Convention Center after Katrina and personally helped several evacuees. I respect that hands-on approach.
