Play it forward
Last week was great, the weekend was awesome, now I am playing catch up. I am a step behind in all of my Internet projects. My week has been busy doing what I should have done over the weekend, but I wouldn't change it at all. I love being around young people and having a front row seat in their amazing lives. What a gift it is to be part of something so special.I was talking to MJ, the music teacher and director of the play, who has worked with my 20 year old and now my 15 year old. I thanked her for what she does and said to her: "it is such a gift you give these kids, to be part of such a fantastic production, but I see all of the work you do, I wonder why you continue to do it all, year after year." Her response was that it was possible because she has so many parents to help her do all of the things that need to be done, but then in a very sincere tone she referred to the kids and said: "I do it for them, because someone did it for me."
Cool, I was thinking about how enlighten that is in life, to give someone an experience or opportunity that was given to you. What a beautiful reason to do something.
This is the reason why I chose Hypnosis and NLP to share with people for change work, because it had a major impact on my life that I will never be the person I was. I want that for you in the most wonderful and empowering ways.

Once on This Island is heart-warming
The kids are so talented, the costumes are colorful, the dancing is fun and music is great! The vocal talent is amazing. Since it is on an island, my son Regis had to tame his wild mane of hair. Check out his before and after:
If you do come, be sure to say Hi to me. I will be there, either applying make-up, selling coffee, delivering flowers to the crew or up in the balcony cheering.

Have fun in your play

We are once again preparing for the school play. This year's production is Once on This Island, Regis my son is in it. http://greeceodyssey.com/Musicals/2008%20OotI/OotI.htm
It is a fun production to be part of, lots of good music, dancing and energy. Since I like to help out, primarily in the make up department, I hang around for a while just taking it all in.
I watch the kids work very hard, rehearshing their lines, songs and dances over and over again. Even though they are tired, they seem to have fun laughing and joking around. That is what I love about young people, they make the best of life, they laugh when they are tired and they poke fun at the parts they don't understand.
We can learn quite a bit from this when watching our intake. Instead of complaining that we have to eat the same type of food or that we have to work out again, we could make it more fun, joke about it and find ways to enjoy the process.
How can you make the production of your life more fun?
